Celebrate Professor Dave Clough with #MyDaveCloughStory
Help the College of Engineering and Applied Science celebrate the 42-year career of Professor David Clough as he prepares for retirement!
Clough earned his master's and PhD in chemical engineering at CU before joining the faculty in 1975. He also served as associate department chair, associate dean for academic affairs and the campus faculty athletic representative.

Young adult mood study: Earn up to $200
Are you between 18 and 25 years old? Interested in your moods and thoughts?
Participate in a paid study on emotion and mood in the CU Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Earn up to $200 to participate in studies answering questions about your feelings and thoughts, watching brief films, playing computer games and logging emotions and activities.
The study includes two separate visits, each paying $10 per hour in cash. The first visit will last two to three hours, and the second is four hours. There will be an added option for paid follow-up phone interviews.

Free print production training classes June 7
Learn the essentials before you begin your project at the first in a series of print production training classes. One hour of instruction followed by an optional hour of one-on-one help with your project. Walk-ins are welcome, but each class is limited to 15 people.

Fun research projects for kids
The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age birth to 12 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about self-control, language and cognitive strategies.
A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 60 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel, and kids receive a fun prize.

Seeking help with finance, personal assistance
We are looking for a college student who is responsible, reliable and patient to help with an elderly woman. The job would consist of keeping track of her finance, paying bills, driving her around town and helping around with anything there is to do at home (e.g., putting dishes in the washer, sweeping and taking the trash out). We are looking for someone who is available twice a week and can be flexible.

Work-study opportunities for summer
The Office of the Registrar is seeking friendly, hard-working and professional students for front-desk reception positions. Applicants must be undergraduate Colorado residents who already have a summer 2017 work-study award.
The front desk is staffed 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate would work at least 10 to 20 hours per week across multiple weekdays. Duties include processing verifications, answering registration questions, greeting visitors and answering emails. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Hourly pay starts at $9–$10, depending on experience.
